All eligible woman aged between 50 – 70 currently registered with this practice will invited to attend a routine breast screening check located at the mobile unit located at Stirling Health Care Village carpark. Breast screening helps find breast cancers when they are too small to see or feel.
You’re five times more likely to survive breast cancer if it is caught early.
The NHS offers free breast screening to all women aged between 50 and 70. Evidence shows that routine screening in this age range is the best way to detect cancer early.
Breast screening doesn’t prevent breast cancer but it does reduce the number of women who die from breast cancer each year.
It’s your choice whether or not you attend this breast screening appointment.
